Did you know that Lake Charles, LA has the second largest Mardi Gras Celebrations in the State? We beat out Baton Rouge, and Lafayette. If you have never experienced Mardi Gras you are in for a treat. We kick off our season in Jan. and the Balls, and parades continue till Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. The colorful Queens and Kings displays can be seen at 12th night a celebration that kicks off the Mardi Gras season. We have different Parades throughout the Holiday season for Families, the partiers and the festive ones. This 2020 Mardi Gras is Feburary 25th. Come on and join the fun.
